STUDIO RESERVATION CANCELLATION AND REFUND CONDITIONS

 

Guest Artists
The procedure to be applied in case of Guest Artist's reservation cancellations other than force majeure is defined below:

  •  For daily and/or hourly rentals, there is no deduction for reservation cancellations made 30 or more days before the check-in date, and the reservation fee is refunded to the Guest Artist's account by Viarupa on the day following the cancellation confirmation.
  • For daily rentals, for reservation cancellations made 21-30 days before the check-in date, the reservation fee will be refunded by Viarupa to the Guest Artist's account with a 30% deduction on the day following the cancellation confirmation. The refund process is the same for hourly rentals, and there is no deduction for cancellations during this period.
  • For daily rentals, for reservation cancellations made 21-30 days before the check-in date, the reservation fee will be refunded by Viarupa to the Guest Artist's account with a 30% deduction on the day following the cancellation confirmation. The refund process is the same for hourly rentals, and there is no deduction for cancellations during this period.
  • For daily rentals, for reservation cancellations made 14-21 days before the check-in date, the reservation fee will be refunded to the Guest Artist's account by Viarupa with a 50% deduction on the day following the cancellation confirmation. The refund process is the same for hourly rentals, and there is no deduction for cancellations during this period.
  • For daily and hourly rentals, in case of reservation cancellations made 14 days or less before the check-in date, the entire reservation fee will be deducted from the Guest Artist and any amount will not be refunded.
  • In cancellations made before the Guest Artist's entry without giving a reason, expenses arising from taxes, duties and similar legal obligations that must be paid, and non-refundable fees that can be paid and documented to third parties are included in the deductions.
  • If the Guest Artist requests a reservation change, the request will be notified to the Studio Owner by Viarupa. If the Studio Owner approves the change, the new reservation will be issued and the process will be run. If the Studio Owner does not approve the reservation change, the process continues with the appropriate one of the conditions defined above.


Studio Listers
The procedure to be applied in case Studio Owner cancels the reservation, other than force majeure, is defined below. Accordingly:

  • In case of reservation cancellations made by the Studio Owner 30 or more days before the Guest Artist's entry date for daily and/or hourly rentals, an amount equivalent to 20% of the fee will be deducted from the progress of the next rental through Viarupa.
  • In case of reservation cancellations made by the Studio Owner 21-30 days before the Guest Artist's entry date for daily rentals, the amount corresponding to 50% of the fee, and for hourly rentals, the amount equivalent to 20% of the fee will be deducted from the progress of the next rental through Viarupa.
  • In case of reservation cancellations made by the Studio Owner between 14-21 days before the Guest Artist's entry date for daily rentals, the amount corresponding to 70% of the fee, and for hourly rentals, the amount equivalent to 30% of the fee will be deducted from the progress of the next rental through Viarupa. is cut.
  • For daily and hourly rentals, in case of reservation cancellations made by the Guest Artist 14 or less days before the check-in date, the amount equivalent to 100% of the fee will be deducted from the progress of the next rental through Viarupa.
  • In the event that the Studio Owner cancels his/her Viarupa membership in the period following the cancellation of the reservation, he/she accepts to pay the liability arising from the reservations and the invoice that Viarupa will issue based on the amount of deduction on the first day following the cancellation of the membership.
  • In case of cancellations made by the Studio Owner without giving a reason before the Guest Artist's entry date, expenses arising from obligatory taxes, duties and similar legal obligations, as well as non-refundable fees that can be paid and documented to third parties, are included in the deductions.
  • If the Studio Owner requests a reservation change, the request will be notified to the Guest Artist through Viarupa. If the Guest Artist approves the change, the new reservation will be issued and the process will be carried out. If the Guest Artist does not approve the reservation change, the process continues with the appropriate one of the conditions defined above.
  • Deductions from the Studio Owner are paid in accordance with the contract to compensate for the Viarupa service fee and the Guest Artist's grievances.

ARTWORK PURCHASE CANCELLATION AND RETURN CONDITIONS

 

  • You can return the artwork you purchased within 14 days without giving any reason.
  • To start the return process, after filling out the "Return Form" on "My Orders" page, you can deliver the package to the contracted cargo company within 3 business days at the latest with the return code assigned to you.
  • In case of returns, the responsibility of packaging the product belongs entirely to the buyer. If the packaging materials are still usable when you receive the work, please use them. If not, you can request a new one by contacting us at support@viarupa.com. In such a case, Viarupa will send you the necessary material free of charge. In order to transport the work under insurance and complete the return process, it is mandatory to follow the instructions in the Packaging Guide completely.
  • When the artwork is delivered to the artist without any problems, the refund process will be initiated by Viarupa and the refund will be made within 1 to 3 weeks, depending on your payment method and the operation of the bank you work with.

 

PROGRESS PAYMENTS AND INVOICING

 

Studio Listers

Payments and invoicing regarding the progress payments of the Studio Owner whose workshop is rented are stated below. Accordingly;

  • The Guest Artist pays the fee for the reservation to Viarupa through the intermediary institution.
  • Viarupa includes 20% of the total fee as a service fee and the VAT amount in the total of additional services Viarupa may provide and forwards the amount deducted from the total fee to the Workshop Owner as progress payment. Payments are made as follows:
  • If the Guest Artist makes his/her reservation 15 days before the check in date to the studio or more, the Studio Owner will receive his/her payment 1 day after the check in date. If there is less than 15 days between the booking date and the check-in date, the Studio Owner will receive his/her payment 16 days from the booking date. Progress payments are transferred by Viarupa via bank transfer to the bank account number provided by the Studio Owner.

Artwork Listers
The following method is used to make progress payments to artists whose works are sold:

  • After the sale of the artwork, on the first business day following the 16th day, the progress payment is transferred to the artist by bank transfer to the bank account number provided to Viarupa.
